How to Play – Idle Cookies Clicker
How to Play Idle Cookies Clicker
1. Bake 🖱️
What it is: The main screen featuring a giant cookie.
How to use it:
- Click (or tap) the cookie repeatedly.
- Each click grants cookies.
- The more you click, the faster your stash grows.
Tip: Early on, manual clicks make up most of your income—click like there’s no tomorrow!
2. Shop 🏪
What it is: Your in-game store where you spend cookies.
What you buy: CPS items such as:
- Grandmas
- Ovens
- Farms
- Factories
Why it matters: Every item adds passive CPS that bakes cookies even when you’re not clicking.
Tip: Prices rise with each purchase, so diversify and watch the cost-to-CPS ratio.
3. Recipes 🍪
What it is: An upgrade hub.
Upgrades do things like:
- Boost CPS output of specific Shop items.
- Increase cookies gained per manual click.
- Unlock special mechanics (golden cookies, multipliers, etc.).
Tip: Upgrades often give a larger boost than buying one more item—check here frequently.
4. Stats 📊
You’ll see:
- Total cookies baked
- Cookies per second (CPS)
- Cookies per click
- Time played
- Achievements
Tip: Use Stats to set milestones—e.g., “Reach 10,000 CPS before the next upgrade.”
5. Export / Import 💾
Export (.JSON): Save your game to a downloadable .json file.
- Click Export.
- Download and store the file safely.
Import: Restore a previous save.
- Click Import.
- Select your saved
.jsonfile. - Confirm to load (current progress will be replaced).
Tip: Always export before major experiments or clearing browser data.
